Cephalometric Ear Rod Sleeves
The ear rod goes into the patient's external auditory meatus and you pick it up at every set-up, so it must have a sleeve. The sleeve stretches over the ear rod like a glove finger and does not shift while the patient is being positioned. 6 cm diameter, boxes of 150 and 300 pieces. Thanks to their leak-proof construction, the sleeves minimise the risk of transmitting microorganisms such as the viruses HIV, HBV or HCV.

Will these sleeves fit my cephalometric unit?
The sleeves are 6 cm in diameter and made from a film that stretches like a glove, so they fit the ear rods of most cephalostats.

The ear rod goes into the external auditory meatus, is in direct contact with the patient, and you pick it up at every set-up. That is why it should always have a sleeve.
What box quantities are available?
CEPH-150 is 150 sleeves per box, CEPH-300 is 300 sleeves. Both versions are 6 cm in diameter.
Are the sleeves visible on the image?
No. The film is thin and radiolucent, so it does not show on the radiograph.
Can a sleeve be reused?
No. Each sleeve is single use, one per patient.
