Why cover the operating light handle?
The handle is one of the most frequently touched surfaces at the chair, and it is usually gripped with gloves that have already been in the patient's mouth. A single-use cover keeps the handle itself clean and takes one wipe-down out of your turnaround.
How is the cover fitted?
Slip it over the handle before the patient is seated. The cut is generous, so it accommodates the different handle shapes found on most operating lights.
Can I use it on other surfaces?
Yes. The same cover suits any small item that is handled often during treatment, such as chair controls or a suction holder.
How often should the cover be changed?
