Handpiece Sleeves
A sleeve over the handpiece and the first stretch of hose keeps aerosol and splatter off the parts that are slowest to clean, and comes away in one movement at turnaround. Two widths: 3.7 × 20 cm for standard handpieces and 2.8 × 20 cm for slimmer ones. 300 sleeves per box. Thanks to their leak-proof construction, the sleeves minimise the risk of transmitting microorganisms such as the viruses HIV, HBV or HCV.

What is the difference between 05-1B and 05-2B?
05-1B is 3.7 × 20 cm and fits most standard handpieces; 05-2B is 2.8 × 20 cm for slimmer instruments. Both are supplied 300 to a box.
Do the sleeves get in the way while working?
No. The film is thin and flexible, so grip and range of movement are unchanged.
How far along the handpiece does the sleeve reach?
The sleeve covers the handpiece body and the first part of the connecting hose, which is the section that is hardest to clean at turnaround.
Do I still need to reprocess the handpiece?
Yes. The sleeves are supplied non-sterile and protect the instrument, but do not replace your reprocessing protocol. They keep aerosol and splatter off the instrument and the hose between patients, so use them alongside your normal routine, not instead of it.
Can a sleeve be reused?
No. Each sleeve is single use and is removed and discarded after one patient.
