Product FAQ

Does the sleeve reduce curing output?

The film is optically clear and chosen for light transmission, so the sleeve is not what will change the quality of your cure. If you work close to the minimum exposure time, check the output of the light with a radiometer, as you would without a sleeve.

Can I use these with an LED curing light?

Yes. The sleeve suits LED, halogen and plasma arc lights alike, because it covers the wand and does not fit a particular light source.

How do I stop the sleeve fogging during use?

Fit the sleeve just before use, on a clean and dry tip. Fogging usually comes from a cold tip, not from the sleeve itself.

Why does a curing light need a sleeve?

The wand is a few centimetres from the working field and on every filling it picks up saliva and blood, and it is not an instrument you can autoclave between patients.

Can a sleeve be reused?

No. Each sleeve is single use, one per patient.
